About Us
The name Copa Cabana comes from a beautiful beach called Copacabana, from Vanusa's home town, Rio de Janeiro, located at the southeast region of Brazil. "The sun, the earth and the sea, good food and drinks, music and dance" is what we aim for. With Rio de Janeiro's atmosphere, we offer moments of happiness and joy.Everybody is welcome! The clients who come to Copa Cabana become precious friends. Let's have fun together. Come watch our irresistible samba show by the great dancer Vanusa Santiago, member of Beija-Flor Samba Team, that won Rio de Janeiro's Carnival Parade many times. You will definitely enjoy it!

Vanusa Santiago
Top dancer from Beija-Flor Samba Team, winner for 2015’s Rio Carnival parade.
Vanusa has been dancing samba in Brazil from her childhood. She started her career as a professional dancer at the age of 18 years old, by participating ina Samba Production Company.
In 1991, Vanusa did her first samba tour in Japan, through the Samba Production Company, in a Japanese Hotel.
In 1995,after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, she began her activities in the city of Kobe, to cheer it’s people.
Nowadays, together with her team, she performs on major hotels of Kansai region and special events for companies and schools. As a professional samba dancer, she has high attention from the media, with regular appearances at Yomiuri TV’s morning information show “Sumatan” and starring at a Yuuhikeoka Hot Spring Inn comercial.
Sumatan Family
Vanusa is also part of the Sumatan family, with constant appearances at the morning TV show as a supporter of the Hanshin Tigers Baseball team. Be sure to stay tuned for her extremely entertaining appearances.
Living National Treasure
In 2011, we were introduced at Yomiuri Television "Yo ~ i don no tonari no ningen kokuhō-san” (Our neighbour Living National Treasure). It was an honour to have been certified by Mr. En as a Living National Treasure.
